Public Holiday Information

Labour Day Public Holiday - 4th October 2010

The following provides information on the public holiday rates that will apply to all HGT apprentices and trainees for the upcoming Labour Day public holiday.

Apprentices and trainees who do not work are entitled to an ordinary day's pay for the public holiday.

Industry Leisure Day Public Holiday - 25th October 2010

Please note the rates of pay for all apprentices and trainees for the Industry Leisure Day public holiday, this public holiday only applies to HGT apprentices and trainees paid under the HGT/LHMU Collective Agreement.

Apprentices and trainees who do not work are entitled to an ordinary day's pay for any public holiday where no work is performed.
