Hospitality Group Training is a Group Training company and was formed in 1985 by the AHA|sa and the LHMU. We employ and train apprentices and trainees in the industry covering all areas. We provide these employees to the industry to be hosted by establishments such as hotels, cafes or restaurants throughout South Australia.
In 2007 HGT expanded its services to the industry by becoming a Registered Training Organisation which means we can provide your establishment with flexible training options provided by qualified chefs and industry professionals.

- Time & Cost Savings - HGT does it all from recruitment to payroll. You only pay for productive hours. There are no advertising, administrative or recruitment costs to you. No lump sum payments when your apprentice or trainee takes leave, etc.

What costs are involved when hosting an apprentice or trainee?You pay an hourly rate according to the employee you host and their year level (E.G. First Year Apprentice). The hourly rate is only charged for hours spent in your establishment as HGT is the legal employer (we pay the apprentice / trainee their four (4) weeks annual leave, sick leave, five (5) weeks training wages and any work cover wages).
