Cath has worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. She first started in a nursing home in the Blue Mountains as a kitchen hand and then progressed to cooking  which she continued with an apprenticeship.
Later Cath and her husband ran a successful Seafood restaurant in Springwood N.S.W. for many years.
After selling that business she moved to South Australia where she worked as a Head Chef at many venues throughout the State and also in Kakadu in the Northern territory.
While working as a Chef, Cath saw the need for more trainers in the industry and completed  Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She worked casually at Woodcroft College teaching community cooking classes while still cooking in kitchens.
Cath started work with HGT in July 2010 where she is following her dream of training tomorrows chefs
