2008 NESTLE Golden Chefs Hat Award

The Nestle Golden Chef�s Hat Award is the longest running chef competition in Australia and gives apprentices an opportunity to showcase their skills and become recognised.

To enter the Nestle Golden Chef�s Hat Award competition, you must enter as a team of 2 nominating a Team Leader and an Assistant. HGT apprentices who are no older than 23 years on 31 December 2008 are eligible.

This is a national competition and the best entries in each region will compete in a regional Cook-off in order to select a Team to represent that region in the National Cook-off. Regional Cook-offs will be scheduled to occur between 2 June 2008 and 29 August 2008 and the 3 day National Cook-off will be held from 22nd to 24 September 2008 in Melbourne.

The major prize is credit to the value of $15,000 ($7,500 for each team member), to be used toward furthering the individual Team members career.

Entries close last mail received Friday, 9 May 2008.
